Position: Manager NOC Support – NOC (Back Office)

Location: Islamabad

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

  • Centralized management of any Telecom based organization`s operation and maintenance centers is a fundamental requirement. Employees and customers rely on NOC services where availability and performance are mandated, and problems can be quickly identified and resolved. Mean time to repair (MTTR) must be as minimized to avoid system downtime thus resulting in minimal associated revenue loss. Modern telecom networks are automated and are run by state-of-the-art Operational Support Systems (OSS). OSS software is the centralized platform with end to end visibility of FCAPS.
  • NOC Support is responsible to support departmental strategy through in-house developed and COTS digital technology solutions and Offer secure, continual, and improved services to increase customer satisfaction.
  • Support and Assist the line manager in departmental strategy communication implementation and enforcement.

HOW CAN YOU EXPRESS YOUR TALENT

  • Ensure the incident reported by NOC sister departments within a defined timeline.
  • Ensure Regular health check of NOC Support applications and servers.
  • Perform vulnerability assessment of virtual machines as per defined granularity and ensure the clearance of new findings.
  • Ensure execute and maintain the disaster management framework is in place.
  • OSS in-house application development with the support of the IT Application Development team based on NOC sisters department requirements for day-to-day shift operations and network surveillance.
  • Deployment of unoc newly developed or feature-enhanced app on unoc production environment after successful internal and end-user acceptance testing.
  • Perform the Role of QA champion for all QA-related tasks of NOC Support

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

1. Qualification

  • Professional degree in Electrical, Telecom, CS, Software Engineering, from a well reputed institution

2. Experience

  • Related experience in the same field will be preferred.
